Unfortunately I am unable to join you on 28 September to bid adieu to my friend and former colleague.
As you may realise, I taught (or tried to do so) at Bartholomew School in Eynsham alongside your dad, albeit in the math's department.
I will mention, too, that my birthday is 28 May - shared with your mother, Mary.
And Ben may recall a clown putting him on a horse at a circus in Bicester in 1985. I was that clown!!
