I first knew Mervyn at Westminster College, where he was a Tutor in the Music Department where I was a student in the late 60s. We became good friends, and I admired his talent not only in Music but also Photography. He was a very creative person, and a talented teacher. He had a great sensitivity and also a sense of fun and humour, and was good company. I am so sad for you that he died at a relatively young age. A huge gap will be left for you his sons.
